It finally stopped snowing late Saturday night early Sunday morning. The final count that I heard was 2 feet of snow! Wow, that's a ton for Virgina! Its more then we usually get all winter long, let alone in one storm. Like I said in my last post Doug left to go to work on Friday night at 12:00 am, well its Monday morning and he hasn't come home yet. He has worked none stop, with the exception of one 4 hour nap! Hopefully, he will be able to come home sometime today, we are crossing are fingers! I am grateful that the gas stations were stocked up with Pepsi! Although, I'm sure there's not much left! Hey whatever keeps you awake, right! Yesterday, Ben and I ventured outside to play! Ben liked being thrown into the snow! Once he got in he couldn't get out.Ben was trying to show Josh how playing in the snow is done. But Josh really didn't want anything to do with it. This is far as he would go.Ben found a flower pot on our porch and decided that it was a good place for snow, while he eats it.
Don't worry I made sure that the snow wasn't yellow or blue! Hey what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, right! Besides I think every kid eats snow. I know I used too.
I am grateful to my our friends for coming and digging my car out of the snow. I promised Doug that I won't do it myself. I felt bad just watching them dig it out. I am extremely grateful that they did it for me. Now I can go to my ultrasound appointment!

I just thought... the snow wasn't yellow or blue but what about chemical fertilizer left in the pot? Shouldn't be enough to cause any problems, right?
Jealous. I would love to get that much snow--at least for Christmas, then it could melt. All we've gotten is about 2 inches but it has melted! Glad Ben had fun and congrats on the little Dougette, but hopefully this one looks more like you!! ;)
