Natural History Museum

While Doug's mom was here visiting, we went to the Natural History Museum. If I had to pick my favorite Smithsonian, the Natural History museum would be it.

Ben was really interested at looking at everything.
Some little kid was yelling at Ben for touching the buttons. So he was looking at me to make sure that he wasn't in trouble.He wanted to get closer to the giraffe, because its Grandma's favorite animal.We got tickets to go into the butterfly exhibit. Ben loved seeing all of the butterflies flying around his head. He sat and watched this butterfly for a long time.It was a lot of fun watching Ben get so excited about the butterflies and seeing him so interested in the museum. We are so lucky that we have all of these wonderful museums only a hop, skip and jump away.

As we were getting ready to leave, Doug called us to tell us that we needed to get to the car and fast. Because there was a major down pour of rain and that it was coming our way. I high tailed it to the car and just as I got Genevieve buckled in the car, the sky opened up. I had to run up the stairs of the Smithsonian to get my stroller and on way down the stairs, I almost lost my pants! By the time, we were all loaded up in the car, there wasn't a dry spot on my me!
