Last weekend we went to Washington D.C. to see the National Cherry Blossom Festival. After such a long winter, it was nice to see all the Cherry trees blooming so beautifully. By the looks of it spring is finally here! On our way home, while riding the Metro train Ben started to throw a big fit. After a bit of exploratory investigation I figured out why. He had tons hives all around his neck. I Then found a bug down his shirt. The bug had been biting him! Doug decided that it was a flying ant. We were kind of scared because a couple of minutes before he started to fuss, Doug let Ben "try" his hotdog. So we thought he was having allergic reaction to the bread. (Cause the bun was all he got in his mouth) We were relived to found out that the bumps were little bits and not an allergic reaction. Because this family loves hotdogs!

poor guy that's sad. just so you know your pics aren't working
just kidding it was me. THey are way cute!!
It looks so gorgeous out there! And you guys are all so cute! Any word on if/when you're coming back here!!! Miss you! And tell those bugs to leave Baby Ben alone!!!
Watching those pictures of you and Doug smiling with your baby just helped calm my nerves about my "situation." Gives me warm fuzzies when I see Daddy's and Mama's loving their baby so much! Being a Mom must be easier than it looks :-)
:( there is still snow on the ground here. I am jealous.. and your pics are so cute!!! I can't wait to see Ben and his big head, he is freaking adorable.
I hope the bug bites are gone - how horrible and not fun for Ben. I love the pictures though it looks so pretty out there and Ben's smile is priceless I just want to squeeze those little cheeks (sp?)!
