This weekend Doug took Ben away for a boys weekend. They went camping at a lake about 20 minutes away. (they couldn't go too far, just in case I went into labor) They had a lot of fun being together and relaxing! One of the objectives of the camping trip was to teach Ben how to pee standing up. When I potty trained him, I taught him to sit, but Doug feels like it is time that he stands. So what better place to learn then in the woods! When Ben got home his was so excited and proud that he peed on a tree!
Doug and Ben relaxing!Ben really enjoyed playing in the hammock.
After they were done camping Doug took him to the golf course that is down the street from the lake.
It was Ben's first time golfing.
What do you think, the next Tiger Woods? Ben was fast asleep within a couple of minutes of the car ride. He was one tried little boy. When they got home, they both took a very long nap. I am glad that they got to go and have some Father and son time. Ben loves his daddy so much!

That is great, Buck and I both got a kick out of it. I think Buck can't wait until he can have a boys weekend with Liam.
I remember when Kayson first learned it was ok to pee on a tree while camping. After that he was always trying to find an excuse to pee on a tree-who knew it was so much fun?! Sounds like they had a great time-good for them!
So fun! Gotta love those father-son outings! Only wish they included "daughter" sometimes, so I could have a day to myself!
And...I hope he's not the next Tiger Woods...;)
I agree about the not being just like Tiger Woods, but I don't know any other golfers.
So I think Joshua will hold his potty the entire camping trip. We have tried to get Joshua to go potty in the ocean and outside (there are some pretty nasty bathrooms as the beach) he refuses. I can't even get him to sit on the toilet with out me holding him.
