Every year during the Christmas Holiday our little family goes to see the lights at the Washington D.C. Temple. This year was no exception even though our apartment looks like a tornado hit it, boxes everywhere and more stuff laying around ready to go into a box. Anyway, this year was extra special. Our good friends came with us to share our family tradition. It was fun to show Brandon and Rachel the temple lights. Our kids love there adopted aunt and uncle. We have truly been blessed to get to know such wonderful people and share our lives with them.
It was also special because we got to see my little sister who is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her mission covers the Washington D.C. Temple visitors center. She is not supposed to tell us when she is working at the visitors center, but we were hoping that she would be there so that we could see her. Turns out she was there and we got to visit with her for a couple of minutes. The minute Ben saw her, he ran to her and jumped into her arms. It was so cute!
Ben is such a stinker! I kept trying to take a pictures of him, but he would never look at the camera.
It was freezing walking around the temple ground!! Genevieve's poor little nose was frozen. She was such a good sport though, she never cried or wined.
We had to get the traditional family photo in front of the temple.

Fun to see you sis! Good luck with the move.
I still don't know where to send your card so maybe I'll just try to email or post on FB or something
Love this tradition, and love seeing the photos.
New traditions next year, how exciting.
We love you and miss you.
