6 Months old

Genevieve is growing way to fast! She is now 6 months old. I took her to her 6 month wellness check up the other day. She weighs 17 pounds and in 28.5 inches long!! She is in the 75 percentile for her weight and 95% for her height!! The day after her appointment I put three different outfits that were all for 9 months, and every one of them were to small for her. Oh well, it gave me a good excuse to go shopping, I love buying girl clothes!!

It has been fun watching her grow and to see what she likes and dislikes. She has recently decided that when she sleeps she likes to bury her face into something soft. The soft thing of choice is this little bunny head blanket that Grandpa Hurst gave her. If she doesn't have it next to her face she will only sleep for a couple of minutes but if she does have it you can count on a very long nap!!

We started feeding her rice cereal over a month ago. The first time didn't go so well, but she has sense decided that it isn't so bad. We have also moved on to Stage 1 fruits and veggies. She wasn't too fond of green beans at first but now seems to enjoy them, good thing too because they are my favorite and we eat a lot of them around here.

Genevieve has been crawling for about a month now. She is getting pretty fast!! Now that she is on the move it means that nothing is safe anymore. If its on the floor, its going in her mouth. Don't worry the sock is clean!

She is such a happy little girl! She loves to watch her big brother, if Ben is in the room, she is starring at him. Ben can always make her laugh!! Its really fun to watch them interact with each other, that is when he is being nice to her!!! Ben gave her the nickname "Ernie" a long time ago. So when I found this Ernie doll I had to buy it!! Ben makes sure that it is always by her at all times!!
