We survived the Blizzard of 2010! If you haven't watched the news lately then you probably have no clue what I am talking about. So I will fill you in. Here in the Washington D.C. metro area, we had two major snow storms back to back, in which a couple of records were broken and history was made! The last time that the area has seen so much snow was back in 1899 or something. I think the total snow fall count was like 55 inches!! You ask why this is a big deal, well its really not, except for the fact that there were like four or five snow storms pretty close together. And that Doug plows the snow in the winter. So it had been like 3 weeks since he had a day off and then these two storms hit. Doug and his co-workers worked almost non-stop for 8 days trying to clean up the snow. When I say non-stop, I mean it. If they were lucky they got to take a little nap here and there. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for watching out for Doug And for returning him to our little family safe and sound.(who is also sound asleep)
Once Doug got home and rested up a bit. It was time to play in the massive amounts of snow!
Ben wanted to play on the snow mountain that is right outside our door.
I don't know who had more fun sledding, Doug or Ben. Ben really wanted to play on the playground. He liked that the snow made it easier to get on and off of the horse. Taking a break from all the playing, to look and watch all of the clouds. After a long hard day of playing it was time to go inside and warm up and take a nap!

I like this post.
I guess after shoveling it for days, it probably felt good to play with it.
Cute Cute cute pictures
I think the DC area is getting all of our snow???? Utah hasn't had much snow at all this year...kind of sad really!
Nice to be a family again.
Over the cabin fever?
