Happy Birthday Ducky!

The other day was my little sister Valerie's Birthday. She is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, here in the Washington D.C. area. Normally you aren't supposed to go and visit with your missionary, but Valerie got special permission from her Mission President, so we went up to the Temple and took her and her companion out to dinner. It was really nice to see her, she looks great and seems very happy! The minute Ben saw her, he ran to her and throw his arms around her. Of course I started to cry! Ben loves his Aunt Ducky so much, the two of them have a very special connection, one that no else has!! We had a really nice time at dinner. It was nice to get to know her companion a little bit. They seem like they have been friends their whole lives. She is a really nice girl! We only got the spend an hour with her, but it was still really nice! I am so happy that I got to see her, even if it was only for a little while. Its been hard to be so close to her and not be able to see her. Words just can't express how much I love her. When we were driving away, Ben asked if we could back tomorrow to see his Ducky because he loves and misses his Ducky. Everyday since he has asked the same question, if we can go to the temple to see Ducky! We love you Ducky and hope you had a Happy Birthday!
